Voice lessons

Lessons focus on breath, resonance, vibrato, diction, phrasing, and expressive singing. Thanks to modern vocal science, we now know how to train all styles—including belting—safely and effectively. Singing is athletic work: you train the muscles and coordination of the whole body. With the right exercises and repertoire, your voice becomes stronger, freer, and more powerful.

Piano lessons

Piano students learn technique, musicianship, theory and composition, develop a repertoire from a wide range of styles, and perform in a recital

Guitar lessons

Guitar students learn technique, chords, strumming and finger picking patterns, read tablatures, develop musicianship and theory skills and perform in a recital.

Voice lessons for children

Children can safely take voice lessons when taught with gentle, age‑appropriate technique. In fact, learning healthy habits early helps protect their voices and lets them grow with confidence. Lessons use songs as the natural way to build coordination, musicality, and joy in singing. If your child loves to sing, lessons can nurture that enthusiasm while keeping their voice healthy and strong.

Evaluations

If you’d like a professional assessment of your voice, I offer vocal evaluations via Zoom or MP3. I’ll listen for breathing technique, range, tone quality, and vocal habits, then provide personalized exercises and clear guidance to help you reach your goals. Evaluations take about 30 minutes and are $45, on or local in‑studio evaluations may be available depending on scheduling. I’m also happy to recommend teachers or coaches if you’re seeking ongoing training.
